Yaatim Foundation is a non-profit organization created with an intention to help orphanages. The world and global society benefit when we help orphan children. Instead of harming themselves and others, orphans grow up to be responsible, healthy, adults that give back to the community they live in instead of taking away from it. Although most orphans are cared for by family members or communities in some way, many of these families are living in poverty. Some form of public assistance is required to provide these children with adequate food, health care, clothing, education and psychosocial support. Helping others is not only good for them and a good thing to do, it also makes us happier and healthier too. Giving also connects us to others, creating stronger communities and helping to build a happier society for everyone. And it’s not all about money – we can also give our time, ideas and energy. Emotional and behavioral problems are more among orphans and other vulnerable children because they are exposed to abuse, exploitation, neglect, lack of love and care of parents. They are also more likely to be emotionally needy, insecure, and poor. … All these factors can socially and emotionally impair these children. Orphanages help care for children who are abandoned or whose families are unable to care for them. An outreach of any orphanage is important to help enrich lives of community’s youngest members, and encourage them to continually strive for a better future.
And let us here conclude with wise and kind words of Mother Theresa:

“”Unless a life is lived for others, it is not worthwhile”

“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”

“If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”
